MMRDA plans monorail between BKC and Bandra station

Project Today reported that Mumbai Metropolitan Regional Development Authority has come up with a second proposal to construct a 4 kilometer monorail connecting Bandra Kurla Complex and Bandra station.

The total cost of this project is estimated to be INR 1,125 crore and will be implemented in a phased manner. In the first phase, a 4 kilometer monorail will be constructed in the next 18 months. It will be followed by the second phase which will stretch till government colony and Bandra Terminus. The project is expected to be completed within 3 years from the date of commencement of work.
