Rautaruukki supplies steel structures to Welor at Orel in Russia

It is reported that Rautaruukki designed, manufactured and installed the steel structures for a ceramic tile production facility for Welor. The contract was worth around EUR 2 million.

Ruukki has now successfully completed the delivery; steel frame, envelope and steel stairs for three production facilities. The facilities are in Orel about 250 kilometers to the southwest of Moscow. Ruukki delivered 1,000 tonnes of steel structures for the production complex of 10,000 square meters.

Mr A.V Fedunov Director of the Welor factory project said "It was no coincidence that we chose Ruukki to supply the steel structures. We have been working with Ruukki for over six years now and the facts speak for themselves. Ruukki's specialists continuously demonstrate their professional expertise and strong customer driven approach while delivering each of their projects."

As per report, once all production capacities start up, the planned ceramic tile output of the factory will increase by 6 million square meters. The factory will create 250 new jobs for the population of Orel.
