Between April 15th 2009 and May 23rd 2009, a total of 20,480 Rautaruukki Oyj shares were subscribed with the warrants based on the 2003 bond loan with warrants. The share capital has been increased by EUR 34,816 accordingly. The increase in share capital has been registered in the Trade Register on June 18th 2009.
The new shares will provide shareholder's rights starting from the date of registration June 18th 2009. It is estimated that the shares will be subject to public trading, together with the existing Rautaruukki shares, on NASDAQ OMX Helsinki on or about the following day.
After the increase, the share capital of Rautaruukki will be EUR 238,485,222.50 and the total number of shares 140,285,425. This figure includes treasury shares held by the company. This increase in share capital was the final increase in share capital based on the 2003 bond loan with warrants. The subscription period for shares under the 2003 bond loan with warrants expired on May 23rd 2009.
