Kremikovtzi closure improves air quality in Sofia

Focus News Agency quoted Mr Petar Traikov chief of environment directorate with Sofia Municipality as saying that closing of Kremikovtsi steelworks has very favorable effect over air quality in Sofia.
Mr Traikov confirmed the already announced assessment of the Environment Executive Agency that the air around Kremikovtsi steelworks is now cleaner than in Sofia. Heavy traffic is now a determinant for the air quality in the capital.
