It is reported that Northern Chinese steelmaker Shougang has raised Jul prices from Jul levels for some steel products following similar moves by its major domestic rivals.
1. CNY 350 per tonne for common carbon, low-alloy, low carbon steel, bridge building steel, ship building steel and steel for welded gas cylinders
2. CNY 400 per tonne for checkered steel
3. CNY 300 per tonne for vessel steel, wheel steel, weathering steel, high strengthen engineering mechanical steel and container plate
4. CNY 300 per tonne for B, H40 pipeline steel
5. CNY 200 per tonne for J55 and X42－56
6. CNY 50 per tonne for X60 grade or higher.
Prices for other products remain unchanged.
