TMK ships premium threaded casing to Surgutneftegas

TMK, one of the world’s largest producers of oil and gas pipes, announced, that it began shipments of TMK-GF premium threaded casing to Surgutneftegas.

The shipments are carried out by TMK Premium Service Division, which offers a range of patented tubular connections and services, including running assistance, technical support and maintenance.

Before the end of this year, TMK Premium Service will ship 8,700 tonnes of 146mm OD Tagmet TMK-GF casing with wall thickness of 7mm and 7.7mm. The pipes will be used in Surgutneftegas’ West Siberian fields.

In 2008, a total of 3,500 tonnes of TMK premium threaded pipe products were shipped to Surgutneftegas. The supply of tubular goods falls under a long-term strategic partnership agreement between the two companies.
