BS reported that JCB India Limited is eyeing a 20% YoY growth in sales over the next 5 years. It has also opened its new dealership facility in Nashik spread over 29,480 SFT.
JCB India has 3 manufacturing facilities in the country, 1 at Ballabgarh in Haryana and 2 plants in Pune. It recently doubled the capacity of its Ballabgarh plant from 50 backhoe loaders a day at an investment of INR 300 crore.
Mr Vipin Sondhi MD & CEO of JCB India Limited said “We have just doubled the manufacturing capacity of our Ballabgarh plant. Right now, we are in the process of utilizing the capacity. The company’s sales were affected last year due to the slowdown. Infrastructure is a long term process, it’s not an annual. We expect a 20% YoY growth in sales over the next 5 years.”
Meanwhile, the company is currently has 48 dealers and 320 outlets across the country. JCB India has a 53% market share in the domestic construction equipment segment.
