Coal plant merger and regroup stride forward in Datong and Shanxi

According to sources from Bureau of Coal Industry of Datong that, coal enterprise merger and regroup are achieving big progress. In addition, merger plans in Hunyuan county and Xinrong district have been approved by Shanxi province.

In Hunyuan county with the majority shares controlled by the county government a total of 8 coal plants will have been integrated into 5, with the annual capacities to be increased to 6 million tonnes per year from 2.13 million tonnes per year.

In Xinrong district, ChinaCoal as a main body will integrate 14 coal plants into 5, with the annual capacities to be increased to 5.1 million tonnes per year from 3.67 million tonnes per year.
