Kolskaya Mining won the best Russian exporter award

Kolskaya Mining and Processing Plant has won “The best Russian exporter in non ferrous metallurgy” prize from the Ministry of Industry and Energy of the Russian Federation on 30 June.
Kolskaya Mining and Processing Plant is a subsidiary of the Norilsk Nickel company.
“The best Russian exporter” is held by the Ministry of Industry and Energy of the Russian Federation as a part of the State program on export support. 121Russian companies from various industries applied for the participation in the competition. Only 56 companies were allowed participating. The winners were chosen according to the estimation of the consolidated export reports of the companies.
Mr Strzhalkovskiy chairman of board of the Norilsk Nickel company said that non-ferrous metallurgy undergoes hard times all over the world. There is the demand fall, nickel overproduction, prices decrease. He emphasized that “Nevertheless, the success of the Kolskaya Mining and Processing Plant in the competition illustrates the stable position of the companies of the Norilsk Nickel Group.”
