It is reported that Wuhan Iron & Steel Corp expects to gain sales revenue of CNY 126.9 billion this year.
As per report, the state run steel group speculates sales revenue of CNY 130 billion and profit of CNY 15 billion in 2010. However, it has not forecasted its 2009 net profit.
According to the report released recently, WISCO listed unit Wuhan Iron & Steel Co Ltd earned net of CNY 506 million in the H1 of 2009 off 89.7%YoY from a year ago. Revenue in the period posted at CNY 23.53 billion down by 36.9% on year.
WISCO predicts to yield 31.24 million tonnes of pig iron, 33.01 million tonnes of steel and 31.01 million tonnes of finished products this year. In the mean time, product mix upgrading will also be carried out. Auto sheet output in 2009 would reach 1.2 million tonnes of this outer body steel plate output takes up 30,000 tonnes.
