Sandvik to build new stainless steel service center in China

It is reported that Swedish Sandivik is likely to build a new service center with slitting machines for stainless steel strip in ZhengJiang, Jiangsu Province of China.
The service center will run into production in October this year, and the cross cutting production line will be commissioned in November. Moreover the lead time will be reduced to one week because the material processing is from local stock.
The service center will provide the stainless steel strip for Chinese market in the early stages and for Asia market in 2010.
