Electrosteel Integrated Limited which is coming up with a 3.1 million tonne capacity steel plant in the Chandankyari block has trained 20 women all from the weaker sections of society, in tailoring.
EIL as part of its corporate social responsibility had picked these women from 17 villages surrounding its coal block and steel plant projects and provided them with one year training at its non governmental organization, Kalyaneshwari Foundation.
