TEX reported that Nippon Steel Corporation resumed operations of the number 2 blast furnace from October 4th 2009 at its Kimitsu works in order to meet trouble with coke input into the number 3 blast furnace there.
NSC admits that it will take time to restore the coke flow for the Kimitsu number 3 blast furnace.
The company announced September 16th 2009 that it had decided to refire the Kimitsu number 2 blast furnace for resumed operations.
