Romanian infra sector urges for higher budget for 2010

Romanian Times quoted Mr Radu Berceanu transport minister of Romania as saying that ministry of transport & infrastructure wants a budget of EUR 4.5 billion in 2010 as compared to EUR 2.6 billion in 2009.
He said that "I asked for a budget 90% higher than the one we had this year."
He added that he wants to increase investment next year in several sectors.
Mr Berceanu dismissed the general managers of state owned passenger railway company CFR Calatori and CFR Infrastructura named the deputy general managers as interim general managers without giving a specific reason for the move.
