Reuters reported that Egyptian cement maker Misr Beni Suef Cement will start operating a new production line by the end of the month expected to yield 5,000 tonnes of clinker per day.
Mr Farouk Moustafa MD of MBSC said that total investments for the line were EGP 1.8 billion.
Egypt's CI Capital said that Misr Beni Suef aims to double production capacity by the Q1 of 2010 with the introduction of another line. It is worth highlighting that this new production line requires a total investment cost of EGP 1.5 billion including the 134.5 million pound and 148 million pound licence cost and energy supply cost."
