Ducab awards USD 64 million contract to Khansaheb

Construction Week reported that Khansaheb Civil Engineering has been awarded the USD 64 million contracts to build an industrial complex in Jebel Ali for Ducab HV.

Ducab HV is a JV between Dubai Cable Company, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority and Abu Dhabi Electricity and Water Authority.

Mr Adrain Ringrose CEO of Interserve of which Khansaheb Civil Engineering is an associate company said that “This is a substantial contract for a facility that will play a crucial role in our client’s operations and it indicates a continued commitment to commercial growth in the region.”

Interserve stated that the development is focused on the manufacture of electric cables for domestic and international markets and that facilities will consist of factory buildings, offices, an extra high voltage test laboratory, utility buildings, associated infrastructure and 2 cable manufacturing towers.
