Mehr News Agency reported that following Mr Mahmoud Ahmadinejad president of Iran’s visit to Kenya last April a contract was signed for the construction of apartments and a motor oil refinery in that country.
As per report, the contract was signed between Jam Industrial Group and a Kenyan company in the Iranian embassy in Nairobi.
According to the contract 60% of the construction material and equipment needed for the projects will be imported from Iran and 150 Iranian specialists will be working there. Kenya is the door to East Africa and an increase of exportation of technical and engineering services to that country will open doors for outsourcing Iranian expertise to the African continent.
