PGCIL Q2 net up 16.03pct

Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd has posted a profit after tax of INR 459.97 crore for the Q2 ended September 30th 2009 as against INR 396.43 crore for the quarter ended September 30th 2008.
Its total income has increased from INR 1,672.97 crore for the quarter ended September 30th 2008 to INR 1,823.66 crore for the quarter ended September 30th 2009.
