Shyam Steel to launch retail TMT network in Kerala

Shyam Steel Industries Ltd announced its market expansion into the State.
Mr Govind Beriwal director of Shyam Steel Industries Ltd told presspersons recently that Shyam Steel TMT Re-Bars (8mm to 36 mm) would be available to retail consumers in the State. Nectar Enterprise of Kochi will be the company representative in Kerala.
Shyam Steel Industries Ltd is continuously expanding its market and making its presence felt across the country. Mr Beriwal said that “Kerala is one of the most potential markets of India for our products and initiatives had been taken for some time now to start retail operations here.”
Till the last financial year, the company had a network of 12 branches across the country. The company is confident of touching monthly sales of 2,000 tonnes to 3,000 tonnes a month in the Kerala market which translates to nearly INR 100 crore a year.
The company owns manufacturing facilities in West Bengal and Orissa. Certified with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001, its products are used in infrastructure projects and individual constructions throughout the country.
