Copper tubes and pipes supplies to Russia decrease

Rusmet reported that copper tubes and pipes supplies to Russia decreased by 1.8 times as compared with similar period of 2008.

As per report, supplies from Serbia decreased by 33.1% to 835 tonnes. Ukrainian products import fell by 32.1% to 776 tonnes in 9 months of 2009.

The supplies from the PRC deceased most of all. Since the beginning of current year Russia imported 758 tonnes of copper tubes and pipes only which was by 3.4 times less comparing with 2008. However, copper tubes and pips import from Germany grew by 27% and amounted 973 tonnes.
