TOI reported that Essar Steel Limited organized a special employment fair for educated unemployed youths in the villages of Hazira industrial belt in co ordination with Hazira Kantha Vistar Vikas Sahkari Mandli Limited.
Over 1,000 educated youths from 17 villages in Hazira participated. In a week's time, the formal selection process will begin and the selected candidates will be offered appropriate jobs by Essar Steel.
Mr Atul Pandya VP HR of Essar Steel Limited said that "The company is committed to provide direct and indirect employment opportunities to local youths. We have been carrying out lot of activities as part of corporate social responsibility program for the development of local region."
