Taiwanese rebar price may go up on higher scrap price

It is reported that Taiwanese rebar market remained slack. However, the mills insist to keep price steady because they believe that the rebar price will benefit by soaring scrap price in the America and Japan, as scrap is the main raw material of rebar.
American scrap price has increased by about USD 20 per tonne and Turkey will start to purchase during the end of November to the beginning of December.
