At least four miners were killed and six others injured in an explosion that took place in the Doli area of Lower Orakzai Agency, here on Thursday.

According to the administration, some labourers were working in the coal mine when all of a sudden blast took place due to the accumulation of gas in the coalmine, killing at least four labourers on the spot and injuring six others.

The injured were shifted to local hospital for treatment.
