Aquila Resources Limited refers to its previous announcements regarding the sale of its 50% interest in the Isaac Plains Coal Mine for AUD 430 million to Ocean Coal Mining Pty Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Sumitomo Corporation.

The Company is pleased to report that settlement of the sale has occurred today. Following settlement of the sale, the Company has in excess of USD 500 million of cash and liquid assets available for the development of its iron ore and coking coal projects.
