SSY reported that Australia’s coking coal exports rose for the seventh straight month in September, up by 11% MoM to an all time high of 13.9 million tonnes as compared to the previous record of 13.45 million tonnes set in June 2008.

This is the fifth consecutive month showing the monthly volume above 10 million tonnes due to strong demand from Japan, Indian and China.
