Business Desk reported that West Coast coking coal miner Bathurst Resources has been placed in trading halt, pending an announcement that appears likely on Monday next week.

Originating from Perth, and dual-listed on the NZX and ASX, Bathurst has been developing its coking coal operation on the Denniston Plateau above Westport, on New Zealand's South Island, over the last seven years.
