Bellzone Mining has confirmed the loading of the first iron ore barge shipments for the Forecariah JV iron mine in Guinea has started at the transshipping port at Konta.

The barges will transport the iron ore to the transshipping Panamax vessel, FGM Iron, located approximately 15 kilometers off the coast.

Mr Nik Zuks CEO of Bellzone Mining said that "The marine trans shipping system will be commissioned throughout the course of July and August as production ramps up, with first shipment to international customers anticipated in late Q3 2012."
