According to the statistics provided by Brazil National Union of the Industry of Extraction of Iron and Base Metals, in November this year Brazil iron ore exports amounted to 23.2 million tonnes falling by 9.2%YoY and up 13.1% compared to October this year.

The share of the world's largest iron ore exporter Vale in Brazil total iron ore exports in November equaled 90.8% amounting to 21 million tonnes down 4.8%YoY. Meanwhile, in the first 11 months of 2011 Brazilian iron ore exports fell by 1%YoY decreasing to 251.7 million tonnes.
