Winds of change continue to blow through embattled iron ore aspirant Brockman Resources, after mining industry veteran Mr Russell Tipper was appointed to the vacant chief executive's role.
Mr Tipper joins the company from fellow Pilbara iron ore developer Aquila Resources, and has previously worked with BHP Billiton and interests linked to Gina Rinehart.
Brockman has endured a tumultuous year after the Hong Kong investment company Wah Nam launched a hostile but ultimately successful takeover bid for the company.
Though it lacks a rail link from its flagship project to Port Hedland, Brockman has port allocation and a large amount of iron ore at its Marillana deposit.
Mr Tipper agreed to join Brockman despite its chairman, Peter Luk, facing corruption investigations.
