It is reported that district council of CPI has urged the district administration to pay compensation to the farmers who lost their lands to iron ore mining companies in D Hirehal mandal in the district of Andhra Pradesh.

Mr D Jagadish party district secretary and others said farmers in Obulapuram, Malapanagudi, H Siddapuram and Siddapuram thanda villages were forced to sell their lands to iron ore mining companies at through away prices between INR 40,000 and INR 60,000 per acre.
