CSN sees iron ore sales at 31 million tonnes in 2011
Reuters reported that CSN, Brazil's biggest steelmaker by market value, expects to sell up to 31 million tonnes of iron ore in 2011, with activity in the first quarter surging, particularly due to strong demand.
Mr Paulo Penido Marques CFO of CSN said that the Sao Paulo based company plans to invest around BRL 2.4 billion in 2011. He added that an 8.6% stake in rival Usiminas is strategic.
