Iron ore developer, Centrex Metals Limited announced changes to the Company's senior management. The Company's current General Manager Commercial, Mr Phillip Staveley will assume the new role of General Manager of Centrex from July 1, responsible to the chairman and the Board.
The appointment will allow current Managing Director, Mr Jim White, to step down from full-time duties due to health issues.
Mr White will however continue as a part time Executive Director as the Company gears up to bring its first iron ore mines on South Australia's Eyre Peninsula into production in association with the development of a new deepwater bulk export port at Port Spencer, northeast of Port Lincoln.
Mr Staveley brings to Centrex a wealth of experience in finance, investor relations and management in the mining, agriculture, energy and contracting industries.
His previous senior roles have included nine years with Normandy Mining in Australia, Brazil, Chile and Canada.
