Century zinc Q1 output dips by 1.8%

OZ Minerals Limited said that output from Australia's giant Century zinc mine fell 1.8% to 101,961 tonnes of contained metal in the Q1 from 125,333 tonnes in the previous quarter. It said that the fall was due to wet weather.
Australia on April 23 approved an USD 850 million offer by China's state owned Minmetals for mines owned by OZ Minerals including Century.
