According to an unnamed government official at Yuanling County in Hunan province, Chenzhou Mining Group may acquire Hunan Kingstone Mining this year as it aims to expand its zinc business.

Should the acquisition of Hunan Kingstone succeed and annual sales of Chenzhou Mining Group are expected to increase to CNY 5 billion within the next three years.

Chenzhou Mining Group recorded sales revenue of CNY 1.68 billion in 2009.
