
China Guodian Corporation, one of the largest state-owned power generators in China, plans to construct a 10 million tonne level coal storage center in Chongqing, one of the nation’s municipalities, in a bid to prompting coal transporting from Xinjiang to the municipality.
According to the framework signed between China Guodian Chongqing branch and local energy investment group, the investment totaled CNY 2.24 billion, CNY 1.1 billion of which was from China Guodian. As of 2015, the center would achieve annual storing capacity of 25 million tones.
