
China Knowledge reported that Chongqing Energy produced 3.23 million tonnes of raw coal in the Q1 of this year up by 5.31%YoY.
The Q1 output met 24.84% of the annual target and accounted for 31% of Chongqing's total output.
The enterprise, along with its five mining subsidiaries, sold a total of 3.39 million tons of coal during the period from January to March, an amount 18.58% more than it sold in the same period of last year.
The average price of coal surged 16.88%, hitting CNY 543.16 per ton. The average price of metallurgical coal was CNY 1,152 per ton up by 22.26%YoY and the price of coal for electricity stood at CNY 383 per tonne.
According to Chongqing Energy website, the group has a registered capital of CNY 6 billion and has more than 20 subsidiaries.
