Churchill Mining will have to wait until September to file its notice of appeal to the Supreme Court of Indonesia regarding the four licenses of the East Kutai Coal Project.
This afternoon it told investors that it is currently waiting to receive official paperwork, from the initial appeal, at the regional court (the Samarinda Adminstrative court).
Churchill said that it has not yet received the official notification of the negative decisions relating to the licenses which later prompted it to take the case to appeal at the Administrative High Court in Jakarta.
Earlier this month, the firm revealed how its appeal in Jakarta in relation to the four licenses had been dismissed.
The company said that because of Indonesian national holidays next week, Churchill expects that the Samarinda Administrative Court will provide the official notices during the week beginning September 5.
The appeal was originally launched to try and overturn the decision by the Administrative Tribunal in Samarinda, East Kalimantan, concerning the revocation of the four mining licenses that comprise the East Kutai coal project.
