A Singareni coal mine worker Dasari Padmaiah died in an accident at Srirampur open cast mine in Mancherial mandal on Monday morning.

Police said Padmaiah a native of Singapur village, suffered serious injuries after he fell from a conveyor belt carrying coal within the mine limits.

He died when he was being shifted to Srirampur Singareni Hospital. Police registered a case.
