Pak Observer reported that coal miners of Balochistan continued strike on Wednesday, the fourth consecutive day against non recovery of eight kidnapped miners, target killing and threat to labourers working at about 500 coalmines.

It should be mentioned that the president of National Labour Federation had given call of strike for indefinite period.

He said that labourers in general and coal miners in particular were perturbed after the killing of seven miners and kidnapping of eight others.

President NLF said the strike would continue till the provision of foolproof security to the miners in the province.

It is pertinent to mention here that more than 40,000 labourers work at about 500 coal mines across the Balochistan province.
