According to Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization, production level of coal concentrates in the first 7 months of the current Iranian year amounted to 590,775 tonnes.

IMIDRO said that in the same time span, 999,336 tonnes of coal were exploited nationwide. From the total coal concentrate production in this period, some 318,000 tonnes pertain to Kerman Coal Company, 180,000 tonnes to East Alborz Coal Company, 45,000 tonnes to Central Alborz Coal Company and 48,000 tonnes to other companies.

From the total level of exploited coal in the said that period, some 460,000 tonnes are linked to Kerman Coal Company, 354,000 tonnes to East Alborz Coal Company, 65,000 tonnes to Central Alborz Coal Company and 121,000 tonnes to other companies. Based on the report, the level of coal sale in the same time span was 710,892 tonnes worth IRR 1.126 trillion. Compared to last year's corresponding figures the weight and value of coal sales increased by 8% and 5% respectively.
