Statistics of economic development of the first three quarters in Xinjiang have out, putting the raw coal production of up-scale coal plants at 53.19 million tonnes by the end of September surging by 26.5% YoY. As Q4 used to be the high season for coal production, raw coal production in the whole year in Xinjiang is expected to reach 80 million tonnes a goal it set in the beginning of the year.

According to persons in charge of Xinjiang Coal Industry Administration Bureau, coal production in the first three quarters of the year had not only met its interior demand but also enabled Xinjiang to push more coal out. Shenhua, Luan and Xukuang, three major mines of Xinjiang, had seen their raw coal stock surging by 264% YoY and their outward delivery volume had also gone up by nearly 20%.
