Coal wagons come off rails in north of Kazakhstan

It is reported that a cargo train crashed with a car of KAMAZ brandat 6:20 in the Pavlodar region (north of Kazakhstan on the border with Russia) at unguarded railway crossing area Maykayin - Ushkulun.

The ministry of transport and communications of Kazakhstan said that "The KAMAZ driver died on the spot, the assistant engineer and two employees of the militarized security received injuries.”

According to the ministry, as a result of the accident electric locomotive and 29 wagons loaded with coal came off the rails. Some 200 m of the way, equipment of signaling, centralization, blocking and communication have been damaged.
