Africo Resources Ltd announced that Dr Tony Harwood will step down from the position of president and CEO of Africo with immediate effect.

Africo wishes to thank Dr Harwood for his devoted and dedicated service to us over the past three years in taking the company public in 2006, raising CAD 20 million on listing, re-securing the Kalukundi project, and the CAD 100 million capital raise in July 2008.

Africo Resources Ltd is a Canadian mineral company engaged in developing, acquiring and exploring for base metal and gold assets in Africa. The company's main project is Kalukundi, a development stage copper-cobalt deposit located in the Katangan Copperbelt in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
