Duke Energy to spend USD 93 million to settle air rule violations
Dow Jones reported that Duke Energy Corporation is expected to spend an estimated USD 93 million after being found in violation of air pollution rules at a coal fired power plant in Indiana.
Federal officials said that most of the cost would come from adding pollution controls at the Gallagher plant outside of Louisville and converting two of its units to natural gas to clean up emissions.
