An 8 hole, 1070 meter diamond drill program to sample transitional zone materials overlying the JORC inferred magnetite resource of 561 million tonnes will begin at the Emergent Resources Beyondie Iron Ore Project located in the mid west region of Western Australia.

The drilling program aim is to provide further assays for the ongoing metallurgical test work program which is expected to take 30 days to complete with results expected in early 2011.

The successful testing of the transitional material has the potential to add significant additional mineable resources to the existing resource with this material representing the part of the ore body which has been subject to oxidation and where the original magnetite has converted to hematite and occasionally martite.

Emergent Resources Limited sees the present and foreseeable demand for resource commodities such as iron, base metals and precious metals remaining strong. The Company has successfully negotiated a joint venture to earn up to 80% equity of the potentially important Beyondie Iron Project and an option to acquire base metal, gold and uranium granted exploration licences and applications from Pandell Private Limited and Oakover Gold Limited.

Emergent’s strategy is to effectively define and develop the company's Beyondie Iron Project exploration in conjuction with existing strong geological and structural association of lead-zinc and copper gold mineralized targets.
