
It is reported that in August this year, Evraz UGOK a subsidiary of Russian mining and steel producing company Evraz Group increased its iron ore concentrate production by 11.6% compared to August 2010 to 876,000 tonnes. Its output of agglomerate in the given period increased by 45.1%YoY to 164,000 tonnes.
In the January to August period of the current year, Evraz UGOK saw a 15.2%YoY growth in its iron ore concentrate production to 6.763 million tonnes and a 13.6%YoY increase in its agglomerate production to 1.239 million tonnes.
