
Godawari Power gets approval for using forest land for iron ore mining
The Godawari Power and Ispat on November 28th 2008 announced that the company had received in principle approval from the India government of India and Ministry of Environment and Forest to use 110 hectares of forest land in Chattisgarh for iron ore mining. It disclosed that the mining activity at the village Boria Tibbu, in Rajnandgaon district would be commenced by June 2009.
