Grande Cache Coal Corporation announced that it has been added to the S&P/TSX Composite Index effective at the market open on December 20th 2010. The Composite is the headline index for Canada which represents the inclusion of the largest companies on the Toronto Stock Exchange and the principal benchmark measure for the Canadian equity markets.

Mr Robert H Stan president and CEO of the Corporation commented that "Inclusion in the S&P/TSX composite index is recognition that Grande Cache Coal has been successful in growing the company for shareholders and establishing a presence and following in the investment community."
