Metal Biz reported that Henan Mengjin Coal is major construction project in Henan Province. This coal mine was started in March 2005, at present, the first phase and second phase mine construction project have been basically completed and the third phase project was started in September, the project bidding had ended, the construction workers of third-phase have approached the site in succession.

The designed production capacity of this coal mine is 1.2 million tonnes per year and the total investment is estimated to CNY 1.0946 billion operating for 43 years.

Till August, the investment of CNY 740 million is accumulatively completed accounting for 67.6% of rough calculated investments, CNY 12 million will be invested this month. According to the current speed, it is expected that it will be put into production and produce coal at the end of 2010.
