Coal worth INR 5.5 million stored illegally here in Chhattisgarh has been seized and five persons have been arrested in this connection.
Police officials said that they have raided five coal depots on Raipur Road and recovered 1,400 tonnes coal, they adding its market prize is estimated to be INR 5.5 million.
The officials said that thirty-two trucks, three excavators and INR 89,000 in cash were also seized. They added that the arrested men were engaged in illegal coal business.
